If you are aspiring to apply for Medical Officers’ jobs in the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), it’s crucial to take note of the following points to enhance your chances of success:

• Rejection History: Applicants must not have been rejected by the ISSB (Inter Services Selection Board), GHQ (General Headquarters), NHQ (Naval Headquarters), or AHQ (Air Headquarters) Selection Board previously.
• Multiple Rejections: If you have been rejected by the ISSB two times at the graduation level or two times at the intermediate level/graduate PMA (Pakistan Military Academy)/graduate/AHQ Based Selection Board, you are ineligible to apply.
• Screened Out Instances: If you have been screened out by the ISSB two times or three times during the initial selection process by the Army, Navy, or PAF, your application won’t be accepted.
• Disciplinary Issues: Individuals who have been removed, dismissed, or debarred from government department services, including the Pakistan Armed Forces, are not eligible to apply.
• Time Gap: Candidates must ensure a gap of at least four months (120 days) before retesting at the ISSB, except when a waiver is granted by the competent authority. However, this condition doesn’t apply to those appearing in GHQ/NHQ/AHQ selection boards.
• Legal Conviction: Any candidate who has been convicted in a court of law for any offense is not eligible to apply for the position.
• Medical Fitness: If a candidate has been permanently declared unfit by AMB (Aviation Medical Board), they won’t be considered for the position.
• Disciplinary Records: Applicants who have withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces colleges/institutions on disciplinary grounds are ineligible.
• Training Institution History: Candidates who have been discharged, withdrawn, resigned, or purchased release from any Armed Forces Officers Academy/Training institution for any reason cannot apply.
• Academic Integrity: Individuals with a tampering case in academic certificates, involved in forgery, or concealing information to gain undue favor will be permanently disqualified from all types of commission in the Pakistan Armed Forces.
• Providing False Information: Applicants must be truthful and provide complete and accurate information during the application process, as providing incomplete, false, or wrong information will lead to disqualification.
